From the ’60s…

BESTKART was founded in the province of Padua, Italy, between the 1960s and 1970s. Originally known as Fratelli Stefanello, it rebranded as Best Kart in 1984. Since then, Best Kart has built a strong reputation among industry professionals as one of the most solid and well-known kart manufacturers in Europe.

One of the company’s key strengths is organizing events in the world of karting, most notably the very first edition of the MONACO CUP—one of the first endurance races for karts—held in Monaco, where Formula 1 drivers and numerous VIPs took part.

BESTKART ORIGINS

The Bestkart brand was founded in 1984 by Florio Stefanello, a pioneer of Italian karting. Known for his passion and expertise in the industry, Florio launched Bestkart as an innovative project aimed at providing high-quality chassis to teams and drivers seeking top-level performance.

The brand’s philosophy has always been rooted in entirely in-house manufacturing, precision, and innovation—values that quickly earned the respect of professional drivers and teams.

EVOLUTION AND GROWTH

Over the years, Bestkart has consolidated its position in the karting panorama, standing out for its ability to design, weld and assemble every component of the chassis internally, a rare feature in the sector. This production philosophy has allowed the brand to guarantee total control over quality and to quickly adapt to the needs of drivers.

ACTIVE INTERMISSION

Despite a period of stalemate for the brand due to the Stefanello family’s commitment to the development of other leading karting companies, Bestkart has preserved its reputation thanks to the quality of its chassis and the strong family heritage that characterizes it.

This period allowed us to develop new skills and technologies that today enrich the project.

BRAND RELOADED

In 2025, the family decided to relaunch Bestkart, staying true to the brand’s original values:

• 100% in-house manufacturing, including design, welding, and machining.
• Performance-driven focus, with a clear target on professional teams and key categories such as Mini-Kart, OK, and KZ.
• A strong family legacy, honoring the tradition of Florio Stefanello while actively involving Tommaso and Claudio as central figures in the project.

The relaunch focuses not only on technical quality, but also on the image of the brand. Bestkart presents itself with a modern identity, supported by a strong investment in technology, design and digital communication. This approach aims to reposition Bestkart among the main kart manufacturers internationally.
